Here are tips for safe treating:
Please provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. Because this is a natural treat, its sizing, color and appearance may vary—this is normal. Be cautious about the natural oils transferring to your furniture or carpeting or other surfaces – as your dog moistens the treats as they chew, transference can sometimes occur.
To prevent injury and choking risks, observe your dog while they enjoy Open Range treats and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew for your dog. If you notice that your dog has broken off a large potion of the chew, take it away to reduce the choking risk.
Our products have long shelf lives – up to 36 months in most cases. We recommend storing all of our natural treats in the freezer or refrigerator or in a sealed container, since they do not contain any preservatives.
And with all “raw” products, we recommend washing your hands after handling the treat.
